Get Involved

Zinnias and mint
The summer season is here and the volunteer opportunities are endless! WFCF provides individuals the chance to get their hands dirty through its drop-in volunteer hours. Summer drop-in hours are Tuesday through Saturday, beginning at 9 AM and ending at noon, though volunteers may leave whenever they choose. Specific duties range from starting seeds in the greenhouse, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, washing produce for distribution and more. Use your volunteer hours as service learning credits required by many high schools and colleges, or simply enjoy the beauty of the land and hard work you accomplish while helping your community.

Waltham Fields Community Farm also welcomes groups of volunteers, but group opportunities must be scheduled in advance.
